Special Egg Biryani in Pressure Cooker | झटपट बनायें अंडा बिरयानी कुकर में | Easy Egg Biryani Recipe

In this post of today, I'm going to sharing Special Egg Biryani Recipe which will be cooked and boiled in pressure cooker with authentic Indian spices that makes this biryani so special. You never ever had this biryani before.

Day-by-day Biryani is becoming so popular and reaching to every ones kitchen. Because it is really simple to cook and cooking method is also easy that any one can cooks.

There are tons of variety of Biryanis, main ingredient of Biryani is Rice, where Basmati rice is the most used rice for biryanis.

Biryani is a mixed rice dish originating from the Indian subcontinent. It is made with Indian spices, rice, and meat, and sometimes, in addition, eggs and/or vegetables such as potatoes in certain regional varieties. Biryani is popular throughout the Indian subcontinent, as well as among its diaspora. Wikipedia

In India between April to August people was started Jackfruit Biryani due to non-availability of non-vegs. And even Jackfruit biryanis was became so much popular and tried to replace chicken from Biryanis 🤣

Ok, enough talk about Biryani. Now let's start cooking Special Egg Biryani in pressure cooker with authentic spices ...

Preparation Time: 20 mins
Serving: 2-3 Peoples

Ingredients:

  • 5 tbsp Refined Oil
  • 3 nos Onions
  • 8 nos Eggs
  • 2/3 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt or to taste
  • 2 nos Bay Leaves
  • 2 nos Cloves
  • 2 nos Green Cardamom
  • 2 inch Cinnamon
  • 1 nos Black Cardamom
  • 1 nos Star Anise
  • 1 nos Mace Spice (Javitri)
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 tsp Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 cup Sweet Curd
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 cup (250 gm) Basmati Rice
  • 1 tsp of Biryani Masala
  • 400 ml Water


Method:

  • "Indian Style Spicy Egg Biryani"
  • Put a cooker on stove and add 5 tbsp of refined oil and wait until it is too hot
  • Put a slice of onion and check the oil temperature
  • Then add 2 nos of Onion fine sliced and fry till gets brown and crispier
  • Take it out in a plate
  • Take 8 boiled and peeled Eggs
  • Shallow cut mark all eggs on top all around
  • Move all eggs to same cooker to fry
  • - Then add 1/4 tsp of Turmeric Powder, 1/2 tsp of Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, and 1/2 tsp of Salt or to taste
  • Then stir to mix well and fry until turns brows and gets thick shell
  • Take out when fried
  • Now put some spices in same oil, is
  • 2 nos of Bay Leaves, 2 nos of Cloves, 2 nos of Green Cardamom,
  • 2 inch of Cinnamon, 1 nos of Black Cardamom, 1 nos of Star Anise,
  • 1 nos of Mace Spice (Javitri) and 1/2 tsp of Cumin
  • Stir and fry until colour changes
  • Then add 1 nos of Onion (Fine Sliced) and fry until softens
  • After that add 1/2 tsp of Ginger Paste and 1 tsp of Garlic Paste and stir well to fry for 1 - minute with other spices
  • Then add 1 nos of Tomato (Fine Chopped) and stir to fry until liquates
  • Meanwhile, lets prepare curd puree
  • Take 1/4 cup of Sweet Curd and put spices like 1/2 tsp of Turmeric Powder, 1 tsp of Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, and 1/2 tsp of Coriander Powder
  • Stir to mix thoroughly and make fine puree
  • Then get back to frying spices and add curd puree into cooker and stir well and fry for 3-4 minutes or until oil gets separating from spices
  • Turn the flame to medium and stir in between
  • Meanwhile let's wash rice
  • Take 1 cup (250 gm) of Basmati Rice and wash
  • When done let the rice rest for few minutes and get back to cooker and add 1 tsp of Biryani masala and stir to mix well for few seconds
  • Then add 1 and 1/2 cup (400 ml) of Water and 1/2 tsp of Salt or to taste
  • Mix well then add fried eggs
  • Add only 4 eggs then 1/2 washed rice over eggs then 1/2 of fried onions
  • Now add 2 long sliced Green Chillies and some chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Then repeat the same again to set one more layer of all
  • Now close the cooker lid and let it cook until 2nd whistle comes
  • After that turn off the flame and let it release the pressure
  • Biryani is ready, now serve and eat
  • Serve Biryani with sett curd, coriander sauce or onions
